Investing Daily is a website and authoritative resource to learn about investing and personal finance related topics (i.e., Nerd Wallet, The Points Guy, style content, etc). We cover best practices with credit cards, money management, investing related to helping people achieve their personal finance goals.
Our Goal
Our goal is to provide actionable advice for people to make sound financial decisions in terms the everyday person can understand.
There's a lot of bad information filled with biased opinions and rehashed advice written with over-the-top technical jargon. Our aim is to provide valuable, well-researched, easy to understand actionable personal finance and investing related advice.
What We're Looking For
We're looking to hire 1-2 writers who can regularly contribute a minimum of four (4) 1200-1700 word posts per week.
This position will start as a part-time writer with room to grow into a more full-time relationship and potential promotion to full editor.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Understands how to do thorough research on finance related subject matter
- Can handle critical feedback and adjust accordingly
- Is tech savy (i.e., understands Google docs, wordpress, etc)
- Has experience writing about personal finance topics (i.e., Nerd Wallet style content)
Compensation
Our budget is around $225 per week for (4) 1200 - 1700 word articles but is negotiable DOE.
Do you need to have finance experience?
Yes, it is required that you have an understanding about money and money management. You should understand the difference between a money market and CD and be able to communicate your knowledge clearly and concisely for the average reader.
