Baby Corner provides a wide range of information for those pregnant, new parents, or trying to become pregnant. We rely on the experience, research, and information of freelance writers to provide articles that will appeal to and engage our readers.
We are seeking friendly, upbeat, and empathetic freelance writers to provide unique blog posts, essays, and medical articles relating to pregnancy, parenting, babies, toddlers, and fertility.
We pay writers per word based on final word count prior to the publication of each article. We typically use PayPal for payment.
We welcome writers with all levels of experience. You do not need to be a professional writer to apply, but you should have:
- Command of the English language and use appropriate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Familiarity with Health On The Net (HON) principles is helpful, as well as US copyright laws.
- The ability to complete articles on time, and communicate with the editor if you are having difficulty meeting deadlines.
- Be able to write optimized articles to keep the reader engaged and informed. Redundant sentences and filler words are not accepted and removed during the editing process before the final word count is determined for payment.
This is a freelance position, which requires us to file 1099 forms with the IRS. We will also provide you will a copy of the 1099 each year that you continue to write for us.
