Hey there,
my name's Andrew and I run a digital marketing agency BrandBuilders.io.
We have a client in the Outdoors vertical who needs a lot of high-quality blog posts.
We’re looking for an outdoor/hiking freelance writer to do two main tasks:
- Write product reviews for different hiking-related products (tents, hammocks...)
- Write articles on a myriad of hiking topics (e.g. beginner hiking blunders, hiking trails in...)
HEADS UP! This is not a freelance writing gig where you spend 30 minutes Googling your topic to write a blah article that you wouldn’t even read yourself. We focus on quality before quantity. We compensate appropriately, but this is a warning — PLEASE do not apply if you’re not interested in putting forth the effort to write articles and resources that are actually helpful.
These blog posts will be between 1000 and 8000 words, depending on the post.
You MUST have in-depth knowledge of the outdoor industry OR be able to write about it highly intelligently.
In your proposal, please provide:
- Writing samples (outdoors related only)
- Rate per word/article
- How many words you could write per week
Agencies will be automatically rejected.
Native English writers ONLY.
If you don't include "I'm not a spammer" in your cover letter, your application will be rejected.
After the paid trial, if we decide to bring you on as a freelance writer, we will ask you to sign a contract and fill out a W-9.
