Job Title: On-Page SEO Specialist & Content Editor

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking an experienced On-Page SEO Specialist & Content Editor to join our team. This individual will be crucial in optimizing our web content for search engine performance and enhancing user engagement.

Job Description:

The On-Page SEO Specialist & Content Editor will be responsible for implementing effective on-page SEO strategies and editing content to ensure it aligns with our brand and optimization goals. This role will require an individual with a strong understanding of SEO principles, technical SEO, and content editing, with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement on-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings, website traffic, and conversions.
Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content.
Edit and proofread web content for clarity, grammar, spelling, and SEO.
Collaborate with the content team to enhance written content and improve user experience.
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and campaigns.
Monitor search engine algorithms and keep abreast with the latest SEO techniques.
Work closely with other team members to achieve SEO objectives, including Developers, Content Creators, and Marketing Teams.
Monitor and evaluate search results and performance across major search channels.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field (preferred, not required)
Proven SEO experience, preferably in an on-page SEO role.
Strong editing and proofreading skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
Familiarity with SEO platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Surfer SEO, Ahrefs).
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and other website technologies related to SEO.
Proficient in CMS platforms (mainly WordPress).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Updated with the latest trends and best practices in SEO

Nice to Have:

SEO or Content Marketing Certifications.
Prior experience in a digital marketing agency or in-house SEO team.
