Need to hire 4 blog writers for hydroculture, hydroponic niche
We need to hire a few good writers to produce their best writing sample for our hydroculture, hydroponic blog website.
We are conducting a paid interview and will select 4 writers from the applicants. Select applicants will each be given the same assignment with the same criteria. Each applicant will be paid $40 for their article whether we use it or not.
The select applicants will write for our first site that will soft launch mid April. The first site will focus on the Horticulture, Hydroculture, and Hydroponics markets.
The interview process
- Initial application
- Paid writing interview
- A Brief interview on Google Meet.
Writing sample details
- Topic and Keywords TBD
- The article should be of original content and approximately 1000-1500 words
- Provide proper header tag hierarchy and overall formatting
- Article tone and brand voice will be established.
- Provide a 55-65 character SEO Meta Title
- Provide a 140 -160 character SEO Meta Description
- If we choose your article we may ask for 1-2 revisions or tweaks.
Brief interview on Google Meet.
If your article is selected we would like to invite you to a brief interview on Google Meet. In the interview, we can both address any questions or concerns about the upcoming projects.
Timeline
There is already a backlog of approximately 100 articles that need to be written within the next 30 days so there is plenty of immediate work. This project is on-going with a minimum set amount of content pieces per month, for a minimum of 6 months.
The hard details
- This is a large initial content demand over the next few weeks and quality needs to remain at its best.
- We will compare your creative writing skills against your peers.
- We must be judgmental, but we will be fair in our selection. There are existing competitor websites with similar content, so we will be looking for a unique angle, personality or approach.
- We will provide feedback and support, not training.
- Ongoing projects pay will vary depending on scope.
- Being selected for this project will open up opportunities for you to write for this and our other upcoming websites.
