Description
As a marketing copywriter, you have the ability to work magic with words. You can improve messaging and work on website copy. You can also create content for a variety of projects (including blog posts, product updates, ad copy, newsletter, social media copy, category creation, outreach emails, …). You will be working closely with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging.
The most successful candidate will be a quick learner who has a versatile writing style.
Responsibilities
Create original high-quality content appropriate for the intended audience (blog posts, PR content, case studies, thought leadership pieces, ad copy, emails, newsletter, social media posts, …)
Work closely with the PR manager to create PR content (e.g. announcements)
Collaborate closely with the performance marketer to create ad copy/ outreach email copy/ etc
Work together with the head of content to build backlinks and keep the traffic consistent
Proofread and edit content before publishing
Monitor the metrics that measure the success of blog performance
Analyze, optimize, and maintain the existing content
Requirements
Native or proficient English speaker
Exceptional writing and research skills
Proven work experience in marketing or advertising copywriting
Basic to intermediate knowledge of SEO, backlink building, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
Be adept at varying the voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging
Ability to work on multiple projects, communicate with other team members, and deliver on deadlines
Excellent organizational skills
Being proactive, analytical, and results-driven
Will be a plus
Previous experience in a software/IT company
Experience in working with task management systems like Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, Azure DevOps, and so on
Experience in working with WordPress
Knowledge of Ahrefs and other SEO tools
Basic knowledge of performance marketing
French, Spanish or Dutch knowledge
