La Matera is a global fashion brand focused on high quality, artisan crafted goods for the explorer at heart.
We’re looking for someone who’s an expert at handling quite a bit, can work independently, and can get things done. An interest in a career in marketing is a plus, but not required.
You’ll be an integral part of growing a dynamic, high-end fashion brand. As part of a small team composed of highly motivated and educated people, you’ll be given a lot of independence and responsibility. You’ll learn a ton about entrepreneurship and running a business and have an opportunity to grow with our growing company.
Responsibilities: Your responsibilities would include, but may not be limited to:
- Coordinating with various parties to create marketing assets including video, image, copy, graphic design, email, social media and web
- Coordinating deployment of marketing initiatives across channels including Facebook, Google, email, web, and social
- Coordinating high quality content creation
- Assisting in the creation of our marketing calendar
- Nurturing the La Matera community by responding to inbound inquiries across channels
- Assisting in conceptualizing and coordinating photo and video creation
- Keeping all marketing content and materials organized and up to date
- Developing and maintaining relationships with content creators across channels
- Coordinating giveaways and collaborations
- Creating reports and updating dashboards to keep a pulse on the business
- Miscellaneous marketing and general tasks as they come up

Who you are:
Most Important: You jump right in, can handle a lot, and get things done. You’re comfortable with a lot of responsibility and you have proven success working independently in an ambiguous environment.
Specifics:
- 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in email or social media marketing
- Experience with luxury goods (direct experience or work experience)
- Experience coordinating high quality content creation (photo shoots and video shoots)
- Demonstrated successful project management experience
- Demonstrated successful project management experience
- Comfortable with spreadsheets (if you've never built a pivot table or done a vlookup in Excel this might not be a good fit)
- Hardworking, honest, and humble - but you know how to crack a joke or two
- You’re excited to work your butt off and learn a tremendous amount along the way
