PlumbingNav.com is a new website and will be an authoritative resource for homeowners to learn about all things plumbing. We cover the best practices of buying plumbing related products, solving informational needs such as “what is” and “how to” for educational topics (eg., how does a water heater work?), and reviews of popular big brands for products. (Water heaters, kitchen faucets, etc.)
Our goal is to provide practical, actionable, reliable, and informative advice to make it easy for people to make sound plumbing buying decisions.
You know the Internet as well as we do. There's a lot of bad information filled with biased opinions and rehashed, boring to read advice. Our aim is to provide valuable, well-researched plumbing resources to homeowners who are researching and troubleshooting plumbing related topics.
What We're Looking For
We're looking to hire another writer who can regularly contribute a minimum of four (4) 1200-1700 word posts per week. *It’s okay to start with less articles per week while coming up to speed, but we wish to increase to this frequency, and if you can handle it, beyond this as well.
This position will start as a part-time writer as we assess your fit with our organization, and your ability to adhere to guidelines. There is room to grow into a more full-time relationship. In fact, this is our #1 desire.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Understands how to do thorough research on the plumbing subject matter
- Can write in a casual, fun to read yet substantive way
- Can handle critical feedback and adjust accordingly
- Has experience in the plumbing industry
Our budget is around $225 per week for (4) 1200 - 1700 word articles but is negotiable DOE.
*We are happy to provide a large flat monthly rate for a good and reliable writer vs. squabbling over price per word.
