We’re currently looking for a handful of new writers to join the Eleven team, specifically those with strong expertise in either tech, finance, business, or marketing.
(Eleven is a fast-growing content writing company trusted by some of the world’s most renowned online media brands. We believe our success is the result of uniting talented writers, editors, and project managers to craft formidable teams and constructive relationships.)
Note: We are currently in big need of writers with solid digital marketing and sales expertise, and especially with relevant certifications, like those offered by Salesforce and HubSpot. Should you have this, please clearly note it in your application. However, we are also in need of writers in tech, business, and finance, so please do not be deterred should you not have marketing/sales expertise. Solid expertise in any one of the four fields makes you eligible.
Please read before applying:
Ideal availability: At least 12 hours or 4,000 words per week. The more the better but anything that meets the aforementioned is suitable. We usually find our articles take around 3 hours per 1,000 words.
Topic expertise: We require strong expertise in either tech, finance, business or marketing. This might be a relevant degree or 2+ years of significant experience writing on the topic, for instance.
Writing experience: We primarily cover online content in the format of reviews, product comparisons, listicles and tutorials, so experience writing at least some of these article types is required. Experience in long-term roles with online publications is another plus and any such activity should be highlighted in your application.
Transparency: Good communication and accountability are some of the most important Eleven values. It is essential that we keep each other in the loop (we work on Slack and are almost always available) and treat each other’s messages with care.
Rates: We are able to offer competitive rates (working out to over $34/hour) based on skills and expertise. Payments are made monthly on the 10th of each month.
