Description
Minc Law is looking for a seasoned writer to write high-quality authority blog posts, youtube scripts, e-books, and pillar content for our niche law blog.
ABOUT MINC LAW
Minc Law focuses on helping businesses and individuals remove defamatory and unwanted content from the Internet and stopping online harassment. We also provide brand protection/monitoring services and consulting services in online reputation management.
We are looking to form a long-term relationship with a writer who is excited about an opportunity to write about cutting edge issues involving the convergence of law, technology, and how individuals and businesses can deal with the problems of online reputation protection in the crazy world of the Internet and online search engines.
Our firm helps people and businesses deal with crazy situations where they are being extorted, facing attacks from anonymous threats/actors, or have some of the most private, intimate, or embarrassing details of their lives exposed online. Many clients of the firm have no other option or place to turn. If we can't help them, the person's life and reputation will be irreversibly harmed, forever.
Minc Law is a growing business that is devoted to producing quality digital content as its primary marketing strategy. We endeavor to be the educational leaders in our industry/space.
Currently, the firm works with 3 other writers who have all been with the firm for over a year. One of which has been with the firm for close to four years and is now the firm's digital content manager. We are looking for our next skilled writer to join our team.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The most important thing we are looking for is to work with someone who is a very skilled and experienced writer that has an interest in our space. Second, we look for writers who have some type of legal experience or background or have other extraordinary writing credentials. The other significant factor that we give a lot of weight is if a person has deep and demonstrated SEO experience and knowledge, although this is secondary. Qualified candidates should have at least some minimum knowledge regarding SEO best practices, a great voice, and personality as a writer. We know good writing when we see it.
If hired, you will be writing 2-4 blog posts (or other forms of content) a month. The actual number will depend on how good you are, how well we can work together to produce the best content possible in a timely manner, and how long the content is that you are working on. The vast majority of articles will be a minimum of approx. 2000 words, although word count will vary considerably by topic. Writers work directly with our legal team of attorneys and paralegals and receive content briefs and cover letters for every assignment. We give our writers a lot of direction and background information to complete assignments, but also as much flexibility and creative freedom as possible to research topics and keep things interesting.
PAY
100% NEGOTIABLE. We want to work with the best. If you are a great writer and a good fit, we are willing to send you a steady stream of work and pay what's reasonable and the market dictates on an hourly basis for your time or on a flat fee per article basis.
