Overview:
We are looking for experienced bloggers, editors, and technical writers who excel in creating detailed, informative, and engaging content in native or fluent English. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of producing high-quality SEO blog articles. Technical writers should be skilled in creating manuals, case studies, white papers, and technical product descriptions. We seek content that resonates with our diverse e-commerce audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, write, or edit comprehensive long-form content, including blogs, technical manuals, and product descriptions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content accuracy and clarity.
Develop content that aligns with MIRA Safety’s brand voice and target audience.
Optimize content for SEO to increase online visibility and engagement.
Review and revise content for quality, consistency, and readability.
AI writing tools are limited to proofreading and rewriting sentences for clarity and consistency. 100% AI-generated content is unacceptable.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into content creation.
Compensation:
Blog Article: $200 per article, minimum 2000 words.
Discretionary Bonus of $150 dollars per article.
SEO Blog Writer Bonus Expectations Checklist:
Quality and Research: Minimum 2000 words, high-quality writing, thorough research, and depth of information.
Detail and Technicality: Comprehensive coverage with technical details, examples, and data.
Formatting and Design: Well-formatted content with headings, lists, high-quality images, and thoughtful design.
SEO Focus: Targeted keywords provided, increased SEO value, proper interlinking, and calls to action if necessary.
Editor Efficiency: Deliver polished content requiring minimal editing to reduce the editor's workload.
Technical writers for product listings, manuals, and brochures will be compensated $100 per product listing. Long-form content compensation for technical writing is individually priced and open for discussion.
Hourly work available for editors.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a long-form content creator, blogger, editor, or technical writer.
Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality long-form content such as successful SEO blog content, manuals, white papers, and technical product descriptions.
Excellent research skills and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging content.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in e-commerce, tactical gear, journalism, survival, safety equipment, law enforcement, military, or adjacent sectors.
Knowledge of PPE products and related technical specifications.
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Writing, or a related field (NOT REQUIRED).
