Let me explain...
We publish several high-profile websites on a variety of topics and we’ve got a few experimental projects where we'd like to be producing more content on a tight budget.
If these projects show promise, we'll devote more human writers to them as they grow.
We do have a Jasper AI account, but if you've got your own with the unlimited plan - that means bonus points for you. Otherwise, you can use our account with 100,000 words per month.
Scope:
This is an ongoing project since we're regularly publishing new content on our site. It certainly has the potential to be a long-term gig for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone experienced and well-versed in using Jasper to produce excellent content.
We've seen the power of the tool, but also know it can produce terrible, repetitive, nonsense if you're not skilled at using the tool.
So we're hoping to find someone who knows Jasper well and is used to "Cyborg" content - human planned, AI written, and human edited and fact checked along the way.
Pay & Schedule:
We'd love to have someone who is available for 10 hours per week. Hours are completely flexible, but we need you to be reliable and consistent.
Pay is $15/hr and will be paid when you invoice me via Paypal on a weekly basis.
Requirements:
- Native speakers of American English with a nuanced, understanding of the language.
- Our audiences are primarily in the US, so we can prefer to hire US-based freelancers or US expats. However, native speaking applicants from other countries are welcome to apply.
- Experience with Frase preferred
- Experience with WordPress is a plus
- Experience with Jasper AI required
Job Details:
This position will be given topics to write about for a few of our projects/businesses and then you'll be expected to use Jasper and Frase (which will give you access to) to plan out an outline for that content.
From there, you'll use Jasper to help complete the article and edit as needed along the way.
You'll also use Frase for optimization suggestions to make sure we're matching the searcher's intent and covering the topic thoroughly.
We'll do a variety of topics, but examples could be:
- Things To Do With Kids in Boston
- How To Get More Leads For A Party Planning Business
- Stroller-friendly Hikes in the Bay Area
In order to be on our team, you must enjoy writing and be very good at it. Anyone can write a boring review or listicle.
We require the write-ups to be engaging, detailed, helpful, personable, and humorous with a touch of snarkiness. All in all, they must entertain as much as they inform.
Our target is that, with Jasper's assistance, is that you're able to produce about 1 - 2 articles per hour once you get rolling. This would equal around 10 - 20 articles per week in your 10 hours of work.
