Seeking long term contract with experienced contract writers. We are looking for writers who can write for at least one or more of the following subjects:

  • Digital Piano & Keyboards
  • Ukulele
  • Guitar (mention it if you can write about Banjo & Mandolin as well)
  • Classical Instruments (Violin, Viola, Cello)
  • Wind Instruments (Saxophone, Trombone, Clarinet)
  • Studio Equipment
  • Beginners Music Theory

The applicant should have the following skills:

  • Ability to write engaging and clear (simple language) copy
  • Excellent research skills on a topic unfamiliar to you
  • Proficient in English (especially grammar)
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail (if you read this please include the word "acoustic" in your application)
  • Positive Attitude

The role has the following responsibilities:

  • Creative direction in how the article is written
  • 500-3,000 word articles
  • You will be provided writing prompts with structure, it is your responsibility to research the subjects and write these prompts creatively.
  • You will have to optimize the article for terms provided by Clearscope (a tool similar to MarketMuse or SurferSEO)
  • You will not be responsible for the publishing or formatting in WordPress
  • Please apply if you are seeking a long term contract between 3-5 cents per word.


Your application should include the following:

  1. The subjects you have expertise in and can write about
  2. A 100 to 200 word guide on how to choose a ukulele (or any other instrument mentioned) for beginners
  3. Samples of previous writing work
  4. Your weekly word count availability
