Rain or Shine Golf helps golfers create their dream golf simulator so we can all tee it up anytime, rain or shine. As a market-leading online retailer for golf simulator equipment and accessories, we are looking to become a brand name that all golfers know and love. To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a contract content writer who loves the game of golf.
As Content Writer, you will help us continue to position ourselves as an authority in our market and better educate our customers on the different products & technologies that we offer. We are looking for someone who can not only write creative copy, but enhance our brand image through quality website content.
What You Will Do:
- Write engaging website content that turn prospects into customers and fans of our brand
- Conduct detailed research on our products to ensure you are a golf simulator expert and other relevant content subject matters
- Help us execute our website content strategy (this may include writing SEO focused content including product comparison guides, branded landing pages, etc. or pieces intended to grow our brand name through social sharing)
What Skills Are Required:
- You must love golf. We strive to be an authority in the industry for golf simulators and we will need you to understand golf lingo. Plus, a passion for golf will just make this role that much more enjoyable.
- You must have previous web content / SEO writing experience. If you have experience writing for golf blogs or other e-commerce businesses that is a huge plus.
- You must be an independent worker. While we will check-in on a weekly basis, we are looking for someone that can operate with minimal oversight. Strong project management experience and the ability to quickly grasp product knowledge is key.
Bonus points for experience with:
- Shopify
- HTML / CSS
- Adobe Photoshop
Details:
- This is an hourly contract position (without benefits)
- This is a remote position
- Hours may vary but you must have 20+ hours of availability a week to start
- Pay will be between $15-25 an hour based on experience
