New Aspirational Lifestyle Blog is seeking a freelance COPY EDITOR/GHOST WRITER with strong editing and blogging skills.

PURPOSE OF THE BLOG
an Inspiring & Trust-Building blog that specifically targets time-poor, busy women who might be entrepreneurs, professionals or self-employed and more than likely she has young children. These women are seeking out life-hacks of which the blog centres around engaging the reader to become an early-backer, cheer-squad or evangelist of a cutting-edge new technology-backed kitchen appliance.

THE IDEA OF THE BLOG
The idea is to build trust around the author of the blog, who the author is and what they stand for. This obviously takes time. We're dating the people we hope to serve.
We are also trying to get to know our readers so that we can build a better product for them. Giving generously.
They will very quickly realise if they are being 'sold to'.

Our aim is to issue 1-2 articles per week, for a total of 6-8 articles per month.

SUMMARY OF SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
1. A high level of written English with a fun, cheerful informal voice that is professionally written. You will need to spend some time with the author of the blog to understand her style of language.
2. Enough time to commit to a minimum of 1-2 articles per week.
3. Our ideal blogger not only has fun writing skills, but is perhaps also experiencing a similar lifestyle to the author.
4. To demonstrate at least six months of consistent, regular writing (either on your site or on a someone else's site)
5. You're proficient in typical technical tasks associated with blogging: WordPress/blog CMS, SEO and tagging, image sourcing and cropping, best practices for linking and social media.
6. Guest posting experience and connection with other food bloggers (ie. Food, Business/Entrepreneurialism, Women, Lifestyle, Technology) is a plus

Selected candidates will be asked to write a test article.
This is a paid position. Payment arrangement to be agreed upon.
