Are you a gardener? Do you currently grow vegetables and fruits in your backyard? We're looking for a Gardening Writer to join our team. If you eat, sleep, and breathe Gardening and can turn that passion into great writing we'd love to have you on our team.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for writing Gardening guides, reviews of gardening products (round-up post)
WRITING REQUIREMENTS
Our articles need to be well articulated, logical, concise, coherent, and comprehensive. For example, with gardening guide we expect you to give an honest views from your experiences or from extreme careful research from truthful sources, with gardening tool/ product reviews you need to provide honest review of its utility, price, restrictions, details of its features, and its place in the current market or its trending interest in the current gardening community.
Don’t worry though, this doesn’t mean we restrict creativity. Quite the opposite in fact, as we appreciate humor and references that are non-offensive and appropriate.

Who We’re Looking For
If you’re a native US garden enthusiast who knows a thing or two about gardening, then congratulations you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
We need writers who are an intermediate to advanced gardener themselves, are confident in their knowledge about nearly all things garden, such as current prominent plants/ flowers/.., their characteristics, and their place in the gardening community at the moment. A writer who is able to compose knowledgeable copy and confidently explain complex subjects so that they're easily understood.
Skills / Experience Required
Professional writing experience. You should have some writing samples that illustrate your ability to write about gardening. Can you make boring gardening guides and the finer details of a brand of fertilizer exciting and easy to read?
Basic understanding. You don’t need to be a top expert on gardening, but we'd expect our contributors to have excellent knowledge of the field you're covering.
Reliability. Can you work independently, anticipate the needs of our readers, and hit every deadline?
Pay Rates
Per article basis. Negotiable.
