Description
In this role, you will write scripts and act as a producer for the videos we post on our YouTube channels (mainly PhoneBuff, but also new upcoming channels).
The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for technology, be able to communicate their ideas in a concise, entertaining, and easy to digest manner, and will be able to come up with new video concepts regularly.
Duties:
• Creating naturally written video scripts for hosts to read.
• Testing & reviewing products and services.
• Forming original and well-informed opinions on products.
• Creating b-roll shot lists and working with the video editor to help shoot them.
• Reviewing videos alongside the video editor.
• Researching products on the web, attending press briefings, and talking to brands.
• Fact checking the work of other writers on the team.
• Generating new and interesting video concepts.
• Creating organic content for social media.
Requirements:
• Strong writing skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Deep understanding of mobile tech, including both iPhone and Android.
• A deep love of tech in general (you'll write about other topics such as Tesla, Gaming PC's, etc).
• Ability to work under deadlines.
• The ability to work independently or with a team.
• Must have a positive, can-do attitude.
• Must be able to work out of our Temecula, CA office.
