Description
We are a growing online home construction and improvement brand that is seeking full and part-time staff writers to expand our reach with online content.
Writers must be:
- Native speakers of American English
- Based in the United States
Writers must be able to produce content that is:
- accurate and helpful to homeowners
- clear and concise. No word fluff.
- can produce 2 to 5 pieces of content per week on an ongoing basis
- present or past experience in home construction, inspection, or trades is needed.
This is not SEO content. We create in-depth and helpful resources for homeowners. Must be able to write in a conversational fashion without word fluff.
Experience in the following fields is highly desired.
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Roofing
- General Contracting/Home Inspection/Code
- Enforcement
- Interior (drywall, cabinets, painting, etc)
- Exterior (decks, patios, siding, painting, etc)
- HVAC
- Portable and Whole House Generators
- Pest Control
Our articles are generally 2000 to 3000 words in length. Our pay rate is $0.03 to $0.10 per word depending on experience and credentials.
We have a simplistic writing style but with extremely high standards of quality, accurate content.
