CareerAddict, an award-winning work and career advice blog, is looking for freelance writers to join its growing content team.
What You’ll Do
As a Freelance Writer, you’ll work directly with the editorial team to produce clear, compelling and unique content that aligns with our editorial standards and content strategy.
You’ll be tasked with weekly assignments (usually 1–3 articles per week, around 1,200+ words each), and you’ll be expected to research, write and edit articles from scratch based on the topics and instructions provided to you.
What We Expect from You
- An excellent grasp of the English language and its nuances (preferably British English)
- A passion for writing creative, educational and engaging copy
- An interest in SEO and a firm understanding of its best practices
- An ability to work well under pressure and to meet strict deadlines
- High motivation levels and superb meticulousness and precision
- Excellent organisational skills
- Superb communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- An ability to grasp new concepts quickly and keep up with industry developments and trends
- Knowledge of content management systems
- Knowledge of the recruitment/employment industry is an advantage but not essential
