My name is Chris, one of the founders here at www.edenindoors.co and I will be your point of contact throughout the trial and whole onboarding process.

About this gig: We're looking to hire a couple of part-time ghostwriters who can help us build our blog and can commit to producing initially between 6 - 8 informational articles each month on the topics of growing, caring and propagating indoor plants.

There will be no hard word count pinned to articles, we prefer instead to work towards a target range of between 1,000 - 1,400 words so you don’t feel you have to up the word count if it's not entirely necessary. “Less verbage and more facts'' is one of our favorite mottos.

Compensation: Completed articles, once checked and accepted by our editor, will be paid at a rate of $50 each, irrespective of where the final word count falls within the target range of 1,000 - 1,400 words.

Payments are made weekly via PayPal each Friday at 20:00 GMT for articles written and accepted across the week prior.

We also have a few fun bonus incentives in place that reward article performance (as measured by page views/per month).

What your role will entail...

  • Write engaging high-quality articles and format them based upon our standard operating procedure
  • Be able to research and reference interesting source material
  • Be able to stay on topic when writing, and follow the article brief
  • Be willing to receive feedback on initial posts
  • Not essential but certainly desirable - prior to returning completed articles pass your work through Grammarly and/or Copyscape, and share summary statistics

Four writers will be invited to take part in a paid trial of one article.

After reviewing the paid trial submissions, one writer will be offered the chance of regular and consistent work.

 

Please note, we’ll try our very best to acknowledge everyone who take the time to fill out our Google form personally whether you’re successful or not, but just in case the number of applicants becomes overwhelmingly high and this becomes unrealistic to do please accept that if you haven’t heard back from us within 7 days after completing the form that your application has been unsuccessful this time round.
