I'm looking for an exceptional writer/researcher to respond to HARO requests on my behalf.

• You're an experienced freelance writer comfortable with researching topics and providing insightful commentary.
• You're looking for a long term contract and are comfortable working with minimal supervision (after the training stage).

Job Overview

• HARO (Help a Reporter Out) is a platform where journalists ask for opinions from industry professionals.
• You do NOT need previous experience writing HARO pitches. See below for details.
• Your job will be to monitor daily requests from journalists looking for expert insights and information into various topics.
• You'll respond to topics in the following niches: Finance, Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship.
• I'm looking for a long term member of my team

What to Expect

• Every pitch should be approximately 150-200 words long.
• A pitch typically takes 10-30 minutes to write, depending on how much research is involved.
• Emails from HARO are released Monday to Friday 3x per day: 9:35 a.m, 4:35 p.m., 9:35 p.m. (GMT).
• Responses should be written within 2-3 hours of the email being released.

Compensation (Base + Bonus)
*Base pay is negotiable depending on experience

• Base*: $10 USD for every pitch submitted
• Bonus: You'll also receive a $40 USD bonus whenever a pitch is accepted and we receive a "dofollow" link, which is typically 15-20% of pitches.
• 3-5+ pitch opportunities per day, Monday to Friday.
• I'll provide tracking software that makes it easy to tell when you get a link.

Experience & Training

• You should have a strong background in research topics on Google and writing in conversational English
• Specific business or finance knowledge is not required.
• Life experience is a huge asset
• I'll provide full training, templates, examples of good pitches.
• For the first 1-2 months I'll coach you on which pitches to select, and I'll review pitches before you send them out.
