Freelance Writer For Local Travel, Destination & News Blog

We’re looking for freelance writers with a passion for travel and adventure, who can contribute 1-3 articles per week (2,000 - 4,000 words per week) on a regular basis for our travel/local news blog for the state of Montana.

The rate we pay is 4 cents per word, via Paypal. ($40 per 1,000 words)

Requirements:

• Applicants must be native English speakers.
• Knowledge/experience or resident of Montana is a bonus.
• A passion for providing a great reader experience
• Ability to research and create unique articles based on target keywords/topics.

Responsibilities:

• You will be provided with specific templates for each article type. (Things To Do, Where To Go, Informational, Reviews, How-To etc)
• All posts must be well-researched, well-written, proofed using Grammarly, and - most importantly - useful to your reader.
• You will be provided with training in the required writing formats. We expect you to produce articles that require very little editing.
• You will produce well-written articles of 800 – 3,000+ words on topics related to living & visiting the state of Montana.

You don’t need to have a lot of writing experience. New writers who are willing to learn are welcome to apply.
