Pulsing Media is a media company focused on creating personal finance content for a few websites. We are looking for passionate writers who are comfortable with American (U.S.A.) use and style to create personal finance (mainly investing & crypto topics) content for one of our web properties. All content is SEO-based and around 2,000 to 3,500 words.
Background:
You must have a solid understanding of investing and cryptocurrency topics
For crypto topics, you must understand staking, stablecoins, crypto wallets, crypto interest accounts, crypto ETFs, DeFi, NFT, crypto exchanges, etc.
For Investing topics, you must understand stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, options, futures, online brokers, robo advisors, real estate, farmland investing, retirement accounts, IRAs, 401(k), alternative investments, etc.
Coupled with this you should have a detailed understanding of SEO and how to structure articles so they drive organic traffic, based on specific keywords.
What we're looking for:
- A native English speaker from the United States.
- You must have at least 3+ years of writing experience in this space (i.e. crypto/investing/personal finance).
- You have an exceptional mastery of the English language, attention to detail, style, and tone.
- Produce engaging content with no grammatical errors and that is easy to understand and digest by our readers.
- You can grasp complex concepts and make them understandable and are comfortable writing engaging, SEO-friendly content.
- You’re comfortable performing intensive research to create the best original articles out there.
- You are familiar with and actively use tools such as Google Docs, Surfer SEO, Grammarly, Ahrefs, Asana, and Slack.
- Follow the outlines given by the editor for your reference.
- Write the articles in Google Docs.
- Able to commit to at least one to two 2,000+ word articles per week.
- You submit publish-ready, plagiarism-free first drafts that require minimal editing.
Bonus attributes:
- Finance credentials preferred.
- Experience writing product reviews and product comparisons is a big plus.
