Hello!
We are a dog blog (Dachshunds to be specific) and we are looking to expand our writing team. Are you who we are looking for?
We are looking for writers that can provide 3-5 articles per week of 1200 words each. Our ideal writer will write fun, interesting and clean content ready for publishing. While we would prefer dog owners, this isn’t a requirement! Writers MUST be from the UK/USA and be native English speakers.
Research will be required for writing each article to make sure the topic is covered to a great standard.
Preference will be given to experienced writers.
There is the potential for more than 5 articles per week in the future if all goes well.
An outline will be provided for each article for you to follow and some SEO content writing experience would be preferred but this is not a requirement. We cover everything about Dachshunds, from health to behavior, and guides on training.
Our rate for each 1,200 word article is $40 and will be paid weekly via bank transfer or PayPal (your choice). This works out to about $17 an hour if you manage the same pace our previous writers have.
Selected applicants may be asked to do a paid test article before the position is offered.
Writers will be set up with an author profile on WordPress and be credited for their work. You will need to provide a bio for this if selected for the job.
The ideal writer we are looking for:
- Is a USA/UK & English native
- Is able to turn content around quickly and meet deadlines
- Is looking for consistent work for the future
- Is open to taking on more work in the future if things pan out
- Will be able to show previous work
