Job Overview:
As a Content Strategist at Unicode Media, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice and direction of our content. Leveraging primary keywords, you will conduct competitive analysis, devise robust content strategies, and oversee the entire content creation process from ideation to publication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Content Planning: Utilize primary keywords to perform competitive analyses, develop comprehensive content strategies, and create detailed outlines.
- Content Management: Assign topics to freelance writers and ensure their submissions align with our brand's style guide and quality standards.
- Copywriting and Editing: Craft original, concise, and compelling copy for various platforms and audiences. Possess strong editing skills to refine and enhance content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, and be adept at using task management tools such as Notion.
- Project Management: Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple content projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to set timelines.
- Review Process: Route content through a multi-step review process, collaborating with internal teams to ensure content accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Education: BA in journalism, marketing or related field
- 3+ years of editing experience in technology-focused industry
- Proven experience in content strategy
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Familiarity with CMS like WordPress and task management tools like Notion.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay Range:
$25 - $37 per hour
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. The range listed is just one component of Unicode Media’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include profit-sharing, and short- and long-term incentives.
