WE ARE looking for a rock-star editor for a minimum of 8 hours per week with the possibility of full-time.
This is a long-term opportunity.
We'd like to hear from you if you have an excellent command of the English language and are confident in substantively editing articles for online publication.
Applicants must be native speakers of English.
As well as editing for grammar and format, your work will include –
- Cross-reference articles against instructions to ensure the writer met all requirements
- Check articles for spelling and grammar issues using Grammarly and make minor improvements
- Check articles for plagiarism
- Fact check
- Deliver clear feedback/revision guidance to writers for articles that need more significant reworking
- Refreshing old content
- Writing original content
Editors will be provided with training in the required article formats.
Editors will have a paid training period to get familiar with our SOPS.
You don't have to have tons of experience in editing to apply. New editors who are willing to learn are welcome to apply as well.
You won't need to add images or upload them to WordPress. It is a BONUS if you do that!
