Who Are We?
Willowdale Equity is a private real estate investment firm that specializes in acquiring and operating Commercial/Multifamily properties across the Southeastern United States.
What Are We Looking For?
We're looking for a freelance remote content writer with experience in creating Commerical Real Estate articles. You will use researching, writing, and editing skills to produce expert-level articles on assigned topics.
You’ll help us achieve our growth goals by creating content that connects with our target audiences and brings eyeballs to our site. You'll also learn how to create content that ranks and brings clicks.
Qualifications/Skills:
- U.S.-based, Native English speaker
- You are a subject matter expert in the space or have a good understanding of commercial real estate and multifamily real estate and possibly have some experience writing articles on commercial real estate
- You're a natural-born writer! You probably spent a lot of time perfecting your craft, you have a strong grasp of grammar, and you enjoy the creative aspect of writing.
- You understand the importance of organic search and search engine optimization (and if you don't, you're willing to learn).
- You love creating compelling content and you're a continuous learner
- You are a fast writer who works to deliver top-notch quality writing in the allotted time deadlines set out for the article
- You are a self-starter and a very resourceful person who takes it upon yourself to fully research a topic, and can also utilize the resources that we will supply you in each content brief for a given assigned article
How It Works & Our MUST Follow Writing Guidelines and Procedures:
- We will send you a FULL Content Brief Google Doc Link that contains all the details, word count, keyword focus/topic, audience persona, resources, deadline dates, and specifications for the article that you are assigned
- You will be "ghostwriting" an engaging article that'll be anywhere from 1000 to 2000 words (the Content Brief will tell you the exact word count and details)
- You'll write a Compelling Meta Description for the article (155 characters max - Don't worry, we will show you how to do this)
- Once complete, the article has to have a 98 + score, and no more than a 2% Plagiarism score in Grammarly (You can use the Free version of Grammarly for this)
- You'll then optimize the article for SEO by having at least a score of 80 + in SurferSEO (Don't worry, we will show you how to do this, it's fast and simple)
- Meet our deadline for the given article
- Edit or rewrite your article to meet our editor's expectations after you submitted your article for review
Final Points:
- This is a part-time freelance position but the first 3 months will have a large content push so there will be a larger requirement of articles to write (Potentially 2-5 articles per week depending on the quality and your expertise)
- There is also the potential to grow into an editor role on all the content here at Willowdale Equity depending on your attentiveness and the quality of your work
- The pay rate is 0.06 cents a word to 0.08 cents a word depending on your writing experience and expertise
