The Quickbooks Resource Center is seeking a passionate small business news journalist to cover the beat that is essential to the success and livelihood of our communities - Small business.
The small business news journalist will be responsible for finding and reporting on stories that Main Street businesses will find relevant and engaging.
These may include:
- Federal policies that affect the average Main Street business
- Trends impacting Main Street businesses (ecommerce, economy, weather)
- Stories of small businesses doing something innovative or noteworthy
The ideal candidate should have a track record of evoking genuine curiosity (read: no clickbait), driving traffic, and delivering agenda-setting stories with broad appeal.
We’re keen on experimentation and want to collaborate with a professional who is willing to help us further shape our small business news strategy.
