Are you a talented writer with a genuine interest in technology? We are looking to grow our exciting team at AddictiveTips.com, an established consumer advice site providing information and reviews around all things tech.
We are currently seeking new team members to write in-depth features and how-to guides/tutorials covering:
- Security, privacy (VPNs, streaming) - main topic
- OS specialists: Windows, Linux, Mac, Android / iOS (development, too)
- Consumer electronics: buying guides / reviews
- WordPress related stories.
We would prefer a specialist in each of these industries rather than writers with only surface-deep knowledge in multiple areas. And we would prefer someone who's not afraid of writing, as these stories would probably go 1,000 to 3,000+ words.
Requirements:
- Previous online blogging or writing experience
- Proposing your own content ideas in addition to editorial assignments
- Produce well-researched content which covers topics comprehensively and engages our audience
- Think simple when explaining complex and technical information. The average person needs to understand
- A genuine interest and good level of knowledge in your chosen topic(s)
- Not being bothered to answer readers in the comments
- Excellent command of the English language.
Additional skills (optional):
- WordPress knowledge - what plugins are, what themes are, how WordPress works, etc.
- Being able to source images for your content (ideally you'd use your screenshots, create your own imagery; photo editing skills an added bonus)
- Active on social networks and not having a problem with sharing your content.
Remuneration:
We're looking for writers with a genuine interest in crafting high quality material. Remuneration will be negotiated with the right individuals.
