Greetings!
We are looking for a writer to respond to journalist inquiries about real estate, home improvement, interior design topics.
The inquiries come to us through Help a Reporter Out (HARO) Monday through Friday. Inquiry come in batches, which are received three times a day at 5:45 am, 12:45 pm, and 5:45 pm (Eastern Time - USA).
The responses you write must be sent in a timely manner, usually within an hour of receiving the inquiry.
We pay you an hourly rate - please indicate your rate within the application (link below).
You can expect 3 to 7 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase those hours if things go well.
**Inquiry Example**
A journalist might ask, "What first-time home buyers should know about home insurance."
We need creative writers who can quickly conduct research and then provide insights for number of different topics like the question above.
**Qualifications***
- Native English speakers
- Experience with HARO or Public Relations preferred but not required
