Hi everyone!
I am in the process of launching a new blog that is all about stories from the outside world. The goal is to get people on laptops to take more of an interest in the outdoors, and connect with the stories about the things and places around them.
The blog will be educational and factual, but presented in a youthful and exciting way. We don't want this website to feel like an environmental "hippy" website, or a gardening magazine. Articles will be fun, unique, shareable, and they will compliment the original videos that we are making for YouTube.
We're looking to hire one or more writers with excellent experience in writing personal, informal content that is well researched. Ideally you'll be able to write on a variety of topics within this niche, suggest topics and titles, and not need too much supervision.
If the successful blogger works out well we will be looking to hire on an ongoing basis. Example titles that you might be working on include:
- What Happens to Your Brain When You Visit a Rainforest?
- How Valuable is a Single Tree?
- Why This Woman Hiked 10 Miles Every Day in Winter
