Thank you for your interest in this job. We are currently managing and operating a blog site related to Japan, Japanese culture, and Tourism. With increasing traffic, we are looking to expand our writing team to keep up with growth.
Your job will be creating blog posts starting from the headline of the post and a general outline. Unlike many other blog sites, we are not overly concerned with SEO best practices. Instead, we focus on providing long-form extremely HELPFUL and valuable content to our visitors (1500 words minimum per article).
WHO/WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
-Full Time Experienced and Creative Writer (40 hours per/week)
-Fluent English writing and communication
-Knowledgable of Japan, Japanese Culture, and Destinations
-Have lived or currently living in Japan or stayed for an extended period of time
-Minimum 5000 words per week
-Quick responses to messages (preferred communication via text-based messaging)
-Self-motivated, no need to be micromanaged.
-Capable of researching and fact-checking
OFFER
-Payment based on a per word basis starting at $0.02 per word.
-Optional training per our specific style on content creation
-Consistent work
-You can work whenever you want. You will not have to wake up or work at any given time.
-You can work as much as you want. There will be a minimum but extra work is always appreciated
