I'm Wes, the founder of Striketec.com. For more than 5 years we have been developing the worlds first wearable tech for mixed martial arts industry- This includes Boxing. We have been featured on Spike.tv and Directv becoming the first company to use this product during a live fight to stream speed and power of a fight.
We have recently modeled our enterprise system into a consumer product and are looking forward to working with talented fighters and excited fans across the world.
Our goal is to provide valuable content to promote and gain exposure.
Role Summary
We are looking for both freelancer or full-time writer for www.striketec.com. You will be writing about a wide range of topics related to the our product and industry of mixed martial arts (mma). We are working with the largest client in the market (UFC) and we need high quality content.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching a given topic using high quality sources
- Presenting information in an EXCITING and ENGAGING, easy-to-read format
- Meeting deadlines on time
- Respond quickly to team communications
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be a native english speaker
- Have impeccable grammar and spelling
- Write in an exciting and engaging tone
- Be passionate about our industry and fans
- Be able to independently research on trending topics and influencers
- Simplify and relate our products feature-set to the audience
- Be proficient in basic IT skills (Google Docs, instant messaging, Gmail)
In addition, the ideal candidate will have:
- Qualifications or experience in writing inside health and fitness and/or MMA community
- Previous experience examples for above qualifications
