Reality TV news writer
Love reality TV? Want to write about it remotely and make money? Now's your chance! We are looking for talented freelance reality TV news writers to cover a range of shows. We want self-starters and to apply for this job you must LOVE reality TV — that means you watch it whenever you can, follow all the cast from the shows you love on social media, and can’t get enough of chatting about the shows with your friends and in Facebook groups. Experienced news writers are strongly preferred but we will consider anyone if you can demonstrate a great writing style, a love of reality TV, and the ability to spot great angles for stories. TV writer (non-reality)
We are looking for talented freelance writers with a love of everything TV. If you can’t get enough of watching everything from primetime shows to the latest Netflix and Disney+ releases then this role is for you. Experienced writers are strongly preferred but we will consider anyone if you can demonstrate a great writing style, love of TV, and an ability to spot great angles for stories, whether that's writing about the latest fan reaction or explaining a juicy theory about a cliffhanger. We need a self-starter who can work fast to create highly entertaining content. Please highlight which shows you watch, and those you are most knowledgeable about, in your application.
Celebrity trending news writer
We are looking for someone to write trending celebrity news articles. You will be a self-starter who can work fast to spot trending topics and quickly research and write articles targeting unique angles. Previous experience writing trending news articles is preferred (although not required), as is a knowledge of SEO and how to use Google Trends to identify great opportunities for articles. The ability to work fast is crucial to this role.
Royal family news writer
We are looking for writers to pen daily news articles about the British royal family. You will need to have an in-depth knowledge of the royal family and its history, and know all the current goings on and gossip. You need to be a self-starter who can work fast to spot trending topics and put together articles quickly targeting unique angles. Experience writing about the royal family online is preferred (although not required), as is a knowledge of SEO and using Google Trends.
GENERAL INFO
- Articles are paid on a per-story basis.
- There are opportunities to earn various bonuses on top of that flat fee.
- You must be able to commit to writing at least 10 stories a week (roughly 10 hours).
- Excellent grammar and punctuation are a must.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Knowledge of WordPress is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic photo editing skills (resizing, cropping, adjusting exposure etc) is preferred.
- Prior news writing experience is a BIG bonus.
