Description

ABOUT US
We are a day tour operator based in South Korea. All our tours are run by us and aimed at foreign (english speaking) visitors. Our goal is to provide the best experiences for our guests, and ensure they are left with beautiful memories of our country and wishing to return.

Currently we are in the process of completely refreshing our online website content and starting a new blog. Our aim is to create and maintain a high standard of quality copy. This is where YOU come in.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for talented Freelancers for Travel/Tour copywriting. While copy will be requested on an adhock basis initially (few pieces per month), this is an ongoing project. We expect this to become more regular and consistent over time.

No authorship credit will be given to writers. Our CEO or public facing management staff will be given credit.

OUR COPY NEEDS
There are two types of copy we require, so you don't need to be an expert in both! Just let us know where your strengths lie in your application.

The 2 types of copy are:
Ecommerce Product / Tour Pages: Here we are looking for copy that clearly explains each tour, but also needs to be fun and engaging to encourage visitors to Book the tour.

Blog posts: Posts about travelling Korea, Korea travel tips, things to do in korea and Korea in general. This will likely evolve as we develop our blog, although to begin with it will be quite targetted and specific.

** Note: We are not looking for 600/800 word fluff pages, but good quality, researched and well written copy that will engage with our audience. Copy will have varying length and depth depending on topic, style and type of content, but expect some long form too.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Feedback: Feedback is a 2 way street. While we expect copywriters to receive feedback in good faith, we welcome your feedback too. If you hit the nail on the head, we will praise you for it :-), and if something didn't hit the mark, we will let you know how we think it can be improved next time.

Brief: We do our best to provide a clear brief with sufficient detail depeding on the task set. If desired we can also incorporate your questionaire. Of course we also welcome your feedback.

Communication: We will respond ASAP if you have any questions. Do not worry about asking too many, or silly questions (there is no such thing).

Ideas: Any ideas and suggestions you may have are truly welcomed (although this is not expected from you).

Keyphrases: Keyphrases will be provided for you in the brief.
