I publish a weekly post at DivorceDiscourse.com and need a creative/pro-active editor to edit the copy. The post is written on Monday and should be edited by the end of the day on Tuesday (for publication later in the week). These posts tend to be approximately 2,000 words.
The subject matter is small business management and marketing (applied to small law firms) and some motivational material.
The editor must provide input and has the autonomy to significantly reorganize and improve the material. Editing also includes adding creative/helpful headings and sub-heads, adding formatting/bulleted and numbered lists and finding and adding an image.
The editor will also handle some minor finishing by adding a social schedule in Coschedule and scheduling the post in WordPress.
We're not looking for simple copy-editing. We're looking for a partner who can help significantly improve the quality of the final product.
We're flexible about payment and are open to a fixed fee each week or a per-word arrangement (or any other proposal you might advance).
