Description
We are looking for a freelance editor who can edit projects for various properties. Currently our writing is across the following categories all in B2B:
- Finance/ Accounting
- Technology
- Customer Service/ Back Office Support
- Sales and Lead Generation
You will work with a team of writers and check their work against our clear writing guidelines for each blog and category.
More specifically, the job entails:
- Edit and review work from various writers
- Ensure writers stick to defined timelines
- Assign new work jobs based on content calendar
- Work with writers to suggest additional articles to business owners
- Edit material until it meets the initial brief and content guidelines
- Guide writers and help them to improve they work product
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have impeccable grammar and spelling skills
- Be familiar with AP style
- Have excellent time-management skills
Qualifications
8+ years as a professional editor, or similar applicable experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art preferred or similar applicable experience.
