About The Role
We’re looking for a humble, hungry, and smart copywriter to create titles, headlines, landing pages, and emails that people can’t help but click. You’re an amazing writer, have a keen ability to drive conversions, and know the marketing world. You engage an audience with powerful messaging with a clear call to action and use data to continually optimize your content.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal marketing team to optimize headlines, titles, landing pages, YouTube titles/descriptions, and emails
- Capture and articulate the Single Grain voice
- Test email copy to improve conversion, engagement and better understand the mindset of subscribers
- Grow subscription list through writing compelling pop-ups, offers, and CTAs
- Drive site traffic with titles that pique interest and are SEO-friendly
- Stay current with industry techniques and trends to stay ahead of the curve in knowledge and capabilities
- Ensure quality standards at all times, meet deadlines and accept constructive criticism and apply feedback
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant copywriting (agency experience a plus)
- A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating high-level branding, email marketing, and customer-centered copy solutions
- Experience writing both short- and long-form copy across multiple online channels
- Experience in A/B testing within the email space
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building out full email funnels
- Experienced in Drip email marketing platform
- Experience working in WordPress, Asana, YouTube
- Basic knowledge of HTML coding is a plus
- Technical writing background is a plus
