I’m looking for an articulate, determined, enthusiastic, copywriter to help me fill out content for the service pages on my site callnerds.com.

The content will have to be informative, engaging, and just plain fun to read. I don’t want to create fodder for SEO. While I will use the content for SEO, I want to use it to educate and inform my potential customers.

The content you produce will be between 1,000 and 1,200 words per service page.

I want you to have a solid understanding of technology, consumer electronics, computers, and networking. You don’t need to be an expert, but knowing the subject matter you’re writing about will help us both.

Your writing skills must be ridiculously awesome. The goal is to use the content to attract customers and build an audience.

This position will have a huge impact on the growth of my company so, you’ll play a vital role in our success.

What You'll Be Doing

Review and recreate content based on the services, my company, Nerds On Call provides to consumers across the U.S. - focused on computers, consumer electronics, networking, malware, software, and operating systems.

I have already created sample pages for these services, but I need to have new unique versions created for the additional location areas that we service. While the overall information will remain the same from the sample page, pieces must have original copy and should be relevant to the specific location we are targeting.

While creativity is a must, you’ll have to write in a traditional paragraph structure. Yes, just like when you were in school.

The Musts

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in copywriting and on page SEO.
• You must have a passion for writing and technology. I’m looking for high-quality content, not low-quality posts.
• You’re able to write engaging content based on keywords or concepts in the computer repair and tech support vertical.
• You’ll be amazing at editing and formatting your content for the web.
• You’re organized and love to check things off your to-do list.
• You’ll be able to work off a monthly content calendar, and meet deadlines.
• You’re never satisfied with good enough.
• You’re able to keep content personal and engaging.
• Your writing tone is friendly and conversational, even better: nerdy humorous is our goal.
• You can produce two to three pieces of location-specific recreated content (1,000 - 1,200 words) per week. Our goal is for this to be an ongoing work project.
