As our Copywriter, you’ll be the one who gets to tell those stories. You’ll be writing compelling content and your words will make a real, actionable difference in the lives of people everywhere.
You’ll be located on-site in our Oakland office working with a small (but mighty) team, though you’ll have the opportunity to work across the business globally. You’ll work with smart and highly motivated colleagues including: designers to make sure content is represented well; the Product Team to translate technical, product-focused information into plain-speak copy; and the Sales Team to gather insight on how content is received by the target audience.
What does it take to become a Noggin?
As a Copywriter at Noggin, you’ll be responsible for researching and writing various forms of marketing content to help share our products and services with the world. You’re someone who’s written it all and has a stellar portfolio to prove it. You’ve got experience writing white papers, case studies, thought leadership guides, blog posts, web copy, eBooks, social media copy, and more. You’re no stranger to the SaaS world; ideally you’ll have had some exposure to writing for a SaaS B2B organization, or within the tech space.
You’ll also need some high volume, fast paced experience under your belt to keep up with our rapid momentum. Though you love the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment, you're also a stickler for accuracy and fact. You’re someone who truly enjoys diving deep into a topic to uncover everything the research has to say about it. You’re able to develop insightful and compelling narratives based on comprehensive analysis of industry trends, current events and critical topics. Our software products and solutions are highly technical, and the individuals we sell to are smart, so our content needs to be backed up by cold, hard facts.
What does success look like in this role?
In the first 3 months, you’ll be up to speed with each of our solution areas and the industries we operate in. You’ll be well versed in who uses our software and for what purposes. You’ll have developed sound knowledge of our target markets, and subsequently your audience.
6 months in, you’ll have written an abundance of high-impact content, you’ll have taken ownership of the content schedule, and will have contributed valuable ideas and insights to the overall content strategy.
12 and beyond, you’ll have consistently produced quality content and your strong knowledge of our strategy, product and audience will have seen a significant increase in the number of inbound leads generated.
