Obscurix.com, a veritable freakshow of the strange, is looking for contributing writers to help us grow our new publication. At the moment, we pay $50 per published piece at the time of publication. The majority of our pieces cover true crime, paranormal, and dark historical topics. We also publish pieces about weird science facts, strange historical events, weird animal facts, and other odd content.
To be a good fit for Obscurix, writers must have a near-perfect grasp of the English language and advanced research capabilities. All of our articles are driven by facts or, in the case of experiences, documented accounts.
Our articles run anywhere from 1,500 to 3,000 words and up, but the important thing is for topics to be fully explained. As long as all the information is there, we're not too picky about length. We're currently trying to fill out our bank of list articles, so if you have a list idea for one of our niches, head to our website to pitch.
