Contract Writer: Real Estate News/Lifestyle Content

Note: This is a freelance, remote position. We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants (min. 15 hours per week)

Our editorial team is looking for experienced writers to produce real estate, lifestyle and travel content for a leading luxury real estate website. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to work with the editorial team on a daily basis, taking on projects of various sizes, from quick news posts to interviews to long-form essays.

Responsibilities:

Edit and publish a minimum of 5 articles a week

• Combination of editing/writing (mostly writing)

Content calendar planning

• Work with the editorial team to build out the content calendar
• Pitch ideas for new stories/features
• Develop content plans
• Target evergreen topics

Additional tasks

• Assist with digital production
• Identify evergreen stories to update

Preferred qualities

• Experience editing and/or writing real estate, lifestyle or travel content
• Familiarity with content written for the web
• Deadline-driven
• Curiosity and enthusiasm about high-end real estate
