Calling all experienced writers! If American English is your native language, you’re
excellent at following in-depth directions, adept at performing thorough research,
and have great communication skills, we’ve got an awesome opportunity for you.
The Income Store is currently filling openings for its in-house Content Optimization
Team, a sub-division of the SEO Content Team. These 1099 contracts pay per word,
and there is essentially a never-ending lineup of assignments to be completed once
onboarded. We are looking for writing professionals who can commit to optimizing
5+ articles per week and are interested in filling these positions as soon as possible.
Short Summary of the Position:
The goal of the Content Optimization Team is to take existing content on various
websites and improve (optimize) them in various ways, including:
Editing the original content within the article
Expanding each article with relevant, valuable information
Incorporating relevant keywords in a tasteful, natural way (not keyword
stuffing!)
Etc.
Requirements:
Overall, the best candidates for these positions are extremely attentive to detail,
know how to edit articles with the whole piece in view (not just grammatically but
regarding the flow of information as well), are able to expand articles in a valuable
way, write on many subjects, perform solid research, know how to source their
writing, and are great communicators.
Additionally, candidates should be characterized by the following:
Have an understanding of SEO best practices
Have experience writing and publishing in WordPress
Have access to reliable WiFi
Have a firm understanding of copyright laws and how to find and use
royalty free image are a serious plus.
