Hi!
I work with a website geared towards serious writers and authors. The community you will be writing for is a community of non-published, self-published and traditionally published authors. Our newsletter reaches close to 25,000 writers and authors looking for writing advice.
What We Need
The content we’d need from you will revolve around the following topics:
- The Writers Life
- The Craft of Writing / Writing Advice
- Publishing and Self-Publishing
- Human Interest Stories on Famous Writers
What We Are Offering
We typically pay between $50-$150 per article. On average, we tend to release two articles per week. The articles we’ll ask you to write for us will range from 800 to 2,000 words. You can include a bio/byline and headshot to go along with any article you submit.
Who We Are Looking For
You should only apply if you know the craft of writing in and out for both fiction and non-fiction writing. You should be able to offer advice on story structure, character development, etc., or be able to find this information and communicate it.
You need to be able to tell passionate writers something they don’t know or remind them of something they may have forgotten.
Having a degree in writing will help, MFAs I’m looking at you.
If you are a published author, that will help as well.
Who We Are NOT Looking For
We are NOT looking for marketers, listicle artists and low quality content producers. We need writers with a passion for the craft and ability to write for an audience of writers.
