Description

We're looking for someone who can help us grow by generating awareness and engagement with NextRequest’s FOIA software. This individual contributor is a critical member of the Marketing team, focused on sourcing and developing content as well as delivering strong, consistent narratives across channels. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and supports strategic work across the organization.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about telling stories, who wants to be part of a growing team, and who wants to support a team that helps governments be more efficient and transparent.


You'd be a good fit if you have:

  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent writing skills with strong attention to grammar, messaging, and tone
  • Experience distilling complex narratives into short, easy-to-read summaries
  • A knack for performance analytics. How well does your content perform?
  • Should be able to quickly understand and distill complex topics and create simple, accessible, relevant content for audiences
  • You’re a business-savvy storyteller

Extra points if you have:

  • Worked with governments and/or technology companies
  • Worked in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Owned or managed a CRM’s marketing tools

What you’ll do:

  • Executing content projects from start to finish, including:
  • Project management (kickoff, timelines, review)
  • Writing, researching (i.e. SEO keywords or subject matter), and editing content
  • Managing internal stakeholder input to ensure quality and alignment
  • Ensuring a robust distribution strategy for each content asset
  • Own the content calendar
  • Manage, optimize, and report on email marketing to highly segmented audiences in HubSpot
  • Support the sales and customer success teams with collateral and campaigns to help them achieve acquisition, retention, and expansion objectives
  • Establish a communication loop with the NextRequest sales team to be in the know about trending topics
  • Build and clean lead lists in our CRM to coincide with email campaigns
  • Aggregate, summarize and share campaign results with clear insights and takeaways
  • Research and test new content formats and channels to increase brand awareness and generate inbound leads

Compensation:

  • $60,000-$75,000
