The role

The Content Marketer role is primarily focused on producing long form content, shorter website copy and content, as well as assisting with producing sales collateral. A successful candidate will be able to leverage their written communication skills to produce persuasive content to generate and nurture leads. This will involve having a strong knowledge of our clients’ pain points and understanding of how our software helps them tackle these challenges.

The right candidate is a self starter that is able to balance the importance of producing high quality content while being able to publish to deadlines. A curious mindset and a passion for writing content that has an impact on sales will be a strong advantage.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Produce Long Form Content - Write, edit, and research topics and themes for high quality long form content, such as whitepapers and reports.
  • Produce Website Content - Write, edit, and research topics and product features for website content for blog articles, feature pages, and other miscellaneous website content.
  • Produce Sales Collateral - In conjunction with the sales team, assist them with writing and editing content for sales collateral, such as buyer guides, presentation decks, infographics, and other communication materials.
  • Know our clients - Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our market, including our ideal client profiles and buying personas in the context of understanding their pain points and how we can solve them. 
  • Focus on Lead Generation - The purpose of this role is to produce written content that drives new leads for the pipeline, as well as enabling the marketing team to nurture existing leads.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience writing in the HR/Workforce Management/Payroll space
  • Experience writing about Software/SaaS

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Content Marketing Writer
  • A strong understanding of producing high quality content that is optimized for SEO
  • B2B writing experience
  • Strong persuasive written communication skills
