Content Manager / Content Strategist - Virtual Position
Growth opportunity for an experienced and creative content manager with a digital marketing company. Responsibilities include developing content calendars, writing and managing a team of contracted writers to provide SEO-optimized content for MedPB.com, our client sites, client weekly blog posts and Facebook posts.

What You’ll Do
You’ll work with our internal production and marketing teams and external freelance writers to craft compelling direct response copy for our own use and for our clients. Specifically:
For our clients:

Collaborate with our Creative Director and the SEO team to optimize client website content for the medical practices we work with

Find and/or work with our freelance writers

Edit and/or update our core content for new sites and/or landing page builds

Develop the client Facebook posts and client blog posts calendar for the month for client sites and our directory sites

Manage writers to develop patient-centric, compelling, entertaining and optimized content

QC site and landing page builds
For MedPB:
-
Develop a content calendar for our MedPB blog
-
Find and manage writers of the highest caliber to create prospect-centric, compelling content for our website
-
Initiate, manage and edit updates of MedPB.com content to accommodate changes to services, sales goals and key conversion strategies

Coordinate messaging on our website and in sales collateral
-
Leverage all content via all available digital media
What you know - requirements and responsibilities
-
Understand digital marketing and the differences between channels. You’ll need to know about paid search, email marketing, organic search, social and video audiences and their motivations

Understand the key elements to direct response writing, can write a great headline and lead

Use a quantitative approach to writing - use Open Rates and Click Thru data

Have experience working with, editing the work of, and cultivating a team of freelance writers

Have experience working in a virtual work environment

Technology and web-savvy. You know some HTML and aren’t afraid of new CMS platforms

Proofreading expert
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree
-
At least 3-5 years’ experience at an online company in a content management/production role

Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, handling multiple projects at a time in an efficient manner without sacrificing quality

Be able to collaborate closely with marketing and production team members as a key creative partner
