Description
our editors are an essential part of creating exceptional content.
they work with and mentor writers across all stages of the content workflow, and they support content strategists in ensuring everything meets clients’ goals and expectations.
we’re looking for:
an editor who can make content the best in every way.
you have experience with saas and/or seo, but your editing and proofreading skills (which you know are different things) translate across industries and mediums because you’re always ready to dive into something new.
you’re experienced with using remote work technology (we use monday.com, slack, + slite) and meeting deadlines.
what it’s like working with us:
you give us your capacity; we assign your work for the month. the month typically goes like this:
- read content briefs + review outlines (first 7-10 days of the month)
- edit 2500-3000w drafts (submitted last two weeks of the month)
- copy edit and quality check final drafts
- optimise for seo
we also share tips, support, and memes in our slack channel.
what we’re offering:
a remote freelance gig with room to grow with the right person, subject to client needs, at $25USD per hour. you track your time and get paid at the end of each month.
you’ll work with our talented team of writers and editors and report to our head of content. this is not a client-facing position.
