Content Creator & Writer for Health & Fitness Lifestyle Brand

COMMITTED HP is a health and fitness lifestyle brand. We are small business on a big mission to create an ecosystem of tools, inspiration and community for modern humans to thrive. With so many outdated and gimmicky products out there, we aim to get better results by focusing on innovation, quality, and our customer's needs. Our philosophy is to mindfully combine timeless wisdom with modern understanding to increase innovation and impact. Currently, our focus is designing and selling low price point fitness equipment for home training and on-the-go exercise. We also create and sell courses, programs, classes and other educational products. We believe that the right combination of well designed physical tools and mindfully curated educational content is enough to give customers the ability to feel, function, look and live better!

As a content creator and writer, you play a critical role in producing and sharing engaging ideas, facilitating experiences and conveying educational information that is both relevant and interesting. You will be writing content for both marketing and educational purposes. Your content will directly help advance our mission of helping our customers become more educated, inspired and independent. This is a creative and detail-oriented role that requires an empathic, team player mentality, and the ability to plan and execute in a scrappy, fast-paced environment. You excel at managing a variety of projects and respond with openness, curiosity and resourcefulness to shifts in the game plan and priorities. Our goal for this project is to positively influence and capture a larger audience by putting out interesting and informative holistic health information. We strongly prefer to hire someone with a background in health and fitness.

Responsibilities:

• Craft compelling, effective, relevant educational content and reading experiences for our customers.
• Write persuasive yet integrous marketing content for email campaigns, websites and ads.
• Maintain the highest quality standards and adherence to our brand and style guidelines.
• Revise existing content in line with COMMITTED HP goals and objectives.
• Effectively manage tight deadlines and competing priorities

If you have some or all of the following please apply:

• Professional experience or high-level education around fitness, relevant healthcare or psychology.
• MA/MS, PhD or other high-level education in English, creative writing, communications, applied psychology, leadership development, learning and development, coaching or other related fields.
• Experience conceptualizing, developing, producing, and editing user-facing content, ideally with a focus on fitness, health, psychology or education across different forms of media.
• Experience conceptualizing, developing, producing, and editing written marketing copy ideally with a focus on fitness, health, psychology or education across different forms of media.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Passion for developing content related to fitness, health, coaching, psychology, and other fields that relate to human well-being and success.
• Highly organized and strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize and make decisions with bias towards action
• Comfort with ambiguity, change, and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in a high growth startup or small business environment
• Copywriting experience, ghostwriting or sales copy.
