Description

Let’s get this one out of the way, one of our main editorial policies is that we don’t talk about politics.

In fact, we’re taking an entirely different approach to guns. I mean, it’s in the name - Pew Pew Tactical.

Guns are fun, so we’re creating a safe space where we can share our love for something we all have in common.

We share memes, talk about how ridiculous guns in movies can be, and most importantly, we approach the subject of firearms with a sense of humor.

Seriously, just look at the opening paragraphs of one of our most recent articles:

“Hello there,” I uttered as we drifted into the Streamlight booth at SHOT 2020. Unfortunately, no one replied, “General Kenobi!” No one even really noticed me fawning over a few new lights, including the TLR 9, and the new low profile long gun lights the TLR RM 1 and RM 2. Fast forward to the summer of Corona and the 7th apocalypse, and we are seeing the release of the RM 1 and RM 2 long gun lights.

Sound interesting?

Cool. We’re looking to grow our team of freelance authors to help us make gun knowledge more accessible to everyone young and old.

We produce in-depth, easy to read guides, gun & gear reviews, gun-smithing and mod advice, competition shooting tips, and reloading tactics, just to name a few.

So, here’s what we’re looking for from our ideal writers:

  • You must have a sense of humor
  • You can commit to a minimum of 2 articles per month
  • You’re super knowledgeable and passionate about guns
  • You know how to keep a reader hooked and can drive a conversation
  • You’re willing to test gear/firearms
  • You can take decent photos
  • You Can follow guidelines
  • You’ve got new and interesting ideas you’d like to pitch

So how about it?

Help out a LOT of gun noobs, write about what you love, play with new stuff, AND make some coin?

If you’d like to apply, please do the following:

  • Look at this article and make note of the second listed glock (it’s about 1/4th of the way into the article)
  • Apply at [email protected] using the name of that glock as the subject line (we’re not looking at Problogger)
  • Share 3 of your best articles
  • Share your photography skills
  • List relevant courses and credentials
  • Tell us your recommended price per word

Alright, that’s it. Looking forward to hearing from you and happy shooting.
